DURATION: 3 days
DESCRIPTION: A tag is made of three main parts: an electronic chip, an antenna configuration and an encapsulation, as shown on the figure below. Its composition is extremely tiny: its dimension are reduced to minimum and its weight negligible.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Building blocks of the RFID system: tags, interrogators, software and peripherals;
Understanding of RFID engineering physics, standards, regulations;
RFID project and needs analysis; feasibility and assessment;
RFID process design and solution selection;
Designing and evaluating the RFID network:
Configuration of interrogation zones:
Business processes reengineering (BPR), selection and evaluation of technological scenarios.
PREREQUISITES: Knowledge of Basic RF physics, Basic RFID terminology and Market awareness;
Two years RFID experience or Academia’s 3 day RFID PRO - PROfessional RFID Certification.

- Testing, optimizing system performance and troubleshooting;
Configuration of interrogation zones:
- How to select tags and their optimum placement;
Business processes reengineering (BPR), selection and evaluation of technological scenarios.
